Avalon Springs Farm is a fiber farm and indie-dye studio in Mount Airy, Maryland. Karen is the dye artist and the whole family are the farmers. We focus on fine breeding of Angora and Colored Angora Goats, producing mohair, but we always have a few other fiber animals too. We produce many local and designer yarns, roving, top, fleece, felt, kits, patterns, finished wearables and we also carry some yarn and fiber accessories.
