Come see our producers at the Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival!

Fiber festival season is here and we are delighted to be in Berryville, Virginia talking to folks about the Chesapeake Fibershed. It’s great to be together again in person and get to touch all the wonderful fiber and yarns. It’s also great to see some of our producer members selling beautiful local farm yarns, many of them naturally dyed.  The festival runs until 5 p.m. today so please come out and support local fiber.  It’s never too early to stock up for those winter projects, or start some holiday shopping!

Heidi Lantz-Trissel of Simple Hill Farm has a rainbow of naturally dyed merino farm yarns.
Lisa Check of Flying Goat Farm offers a wide array of hand-dyed and natural yarns, including a line of Chesapeake Fibershed certified products.
Karen Schlossberg of Avalon Springs Farm has specialty and hand-dyed yarn, roving, fleece, kits, patterns and finished goods.
Kathy Donovan of Checkmate Farm is offering high-quality Karakul rug yarns and Oxford Punch Needle Kits.
And stop by to see our friends at Solitude Wool where you can find breed specific wools and fibers sourced from local farms.
